Become IT Administrator (m/f/d) at SpaceTech

Due to the continued growth of SpaceTech and increasing requirements in IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, digitalization and AI, we are looking for an experienced IT Administrator to strengthen our internal IT team.

Your Tasks as IT Administrator at SpaceTech

• Administration and further development of our Windows and Linux IT infrastructure

• Administration of Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID, Microsoft 365 and Intune

• Administration of VMware ESXi, virtual machines, storage and backup systems

• Configuration and troubleshooting of network infrastructure including switching, VLANs, WLAN, VPN, DNS and DHCP

• Administration and monitoring of firewalls, in particular Sophos environments

• Installation and support of clients, mobile devices, printers and other workplace IT equipment

• User support and structured troubleshooting of hardware, software, network and access-related issues

• Automation of recurring IT tasks using PowerShell, Bash, Python or similar scripting technologies

• Support of IT security, patch management, system hardening, monitoring and documentation

• Evaluation and implementation of AI-supported workflows using technologies such as OpenAI, Claude and AI agents

• Support of internal IT projects and collaboration with external service providers

Your Skills and Experience as IT Administrator at SpaceTech

• At least 3 years of professional experience in IT administration or a comparable role

• Good practical knowledge of Windows Server, Windows clients and Linux

• Experience with Active Directory, Entra ID, Microsoft 365 and Intune

• Experience with VMware ESXi, Veeam and typical SAN / NAS environments

• Strong understanding of networking, switching, VLANs, firewalls and network troubleshooting

• Experience with Sophos Firewall would be an advantage

• Good scripting skills, particularly PowerShell and/or Bash; Python would be beneficial

• Practical experience with modern AI tools such as OpenAI / ChatGPT and Claude

• Understanding of AI agents, APIs and automation workflows would be an advantage

• Good understanding of IT security principles and endpoint security

• Pro-active approach to problem solving, pragmatism and flexibility

• Team player with good organizational and communication skills

• Good English and German skills
