SpaceTech's high-performance solar array wings provide reliable electrical power for satellites in the extreme and unforgiving conditions in space. If failure is not an option for you too, we have this interesting job opportunity for you within our Solar Array Quality Assurance team.
Your tasks
- Preparation of project product assurance documentation tailored to project specific customer requirements
- Support test and inspection activities with engineering and production team
- Support engineering and production team in case of non-conformances and deviations, perform root cause analysis, identify and monitor corrective and preventive actions
- Review of project- and supplier documentation
- Quality status reporting towards the customer and internal stakeholders
- Participation in customer review meetings as product assurance representative
- Contribute pro-actively to continuous improvement of products and processes
Your skills and experience
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in aerospace engineering, physics or related field
- At least 3 years working experience in the space industry
- Knowledge of ECSS is a plus
- Experience with product assurance discipline is advantageous
- Experience with photovoltaic assemblies, materials and process control is a plus
- Hands-on hardware experience is benefitial
- Good communication and report writing skills
- Solid English language skills written and verbal are required, German language skills are an advantage
