SpaceTech is developing the LISA Laser System (LLS), a key subsystem of ESA's Laser Interferometer Space Antenna (LISA) mission. LISA will be the world's first space-based observatory dedicated to detecting gravitational waves and exploring some of the most fundamental phenomena in the Universe.
To strengthen our growing LLS team, we are looking for an experienced Space Project Administrator, responsible for the dual role of Project Controller and Contracts Officer, to support the management and execution of this highly challenging international space project.
As Space Project Administrator within the LISA Laser System team, you will work closely with the Project Manager, Industrial Manager, engineering teams, customers, and suppliers to ensure successful project execution, contractual compliance, and efficient procurement coordination.
Project Control & Administration
Support the Project Manager in the day-to-day execution of the LISA Laser System project
Monitor project progress against schedules, milestones, budgets, and contractual commitments, including subcontracts
Analyze project performance and identify deviations from project plans
Track costs, invoicing status, change requests, and project financial performance
Support the preparation of project progress reports and management reviews
Proactively identify potential project risks and support escalation of critical issues
Support the evaluation of supplier proposals from commercial and contractual perspectives
Contract Management
Support the Project Manager in all contractual and commercial aspects of customer and supplier relationships
Review, administer, and maintain project contracts and contract amendments
Assist during contract negotiations and project execution activities
Coordinate contractual matters with the project team, the customer, subcontractors an suppliers.
Support change management processes and contractual documentation
Required Qualifications
Degree in Aerospace Engineering, Engineering Management, Business Administration, Economics, or a related discipline
Several years of professional experience in project administration, project control, and contract management within the space sector
Experience working on ESA, national space agency, or aerospace industry projects
Strong understanding of contractual processes of technical developments
Experience monitoring project schedules, budgets, and project performance metrics
Ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders and priorities within complex international projects
Professional fluency in English and German, both written and spoken
